Hermes strengthens sales presence in Asia-Pacific


Hermes Investment Management has expanded its sales presence in Asia with the appointment Brian Sng (pictured) as Manager, Business Development. 

Sng will be based in Singapore and report into Jakob Nilsson, Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific.
In this newly created role, Brian will be responsible for driving and managing a clear and coherent engagement plan with institutional and wholesale prospects in Asia, raising third party assets and in delivering new business targets. Prior to joining Hermes, Sng was a Client Relations Associate with M&G Investments, responsible for fund sales and client support for the Singapore and Hong Kong private banking and intermediary channel. Brian has a Masters in Philosophy of Science from London School of Economics.
Jakob Nilsson, Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific, Hermes Investment Management, says: “Over the past four years, Hermes has experienced rapid growth and expanding our sales presence in the Asian markets is a natural progression in the business’ evolution. With strong demand in Asia for products that generate sustainable alpha, responsibly, it is the opportune time for Brian to join the team and I look forward to working with him.”
