Catella reinforces wealth management team in Luxembourg

Dennis Nygren (pictured) has been appointed to head Catella’s Wealth Management in Luxembourg.

Nygren has extensive experience in international banking, most recently as managing director of Asset Management at Swedbank, Luxembourg. Catella’s team in Luxembourg has been further reinforced by the recruitment of three senior relationship managers.

“Our banking business is growing with a good inflow of new clients, and we see a greater need for international financial services. We are delighted to have recruited Dennis and his senior team to our banking operations in Luxembourg. They have all worked in the industry for a long time and with their established international contacts, they will be helping our clients with matters including planning and execution of transfers of ownership and relocations abroad,” says Tord Topsholm, head of the Banking business area at Catella.

Nygren will take up his new position during September. Prior to joining Catella, he was the managing director of Asset Management at Swedbank, Luxembourg. He has extensive experience in international banking, including 15 years in private banking. His previous positions include head of private banking at SEB, Sweden, and head of sales at SEB Life.

Olle Lindfors, Carl Kinell and Alexander Håkansson have also been recruited as senior relationship managers at Catella Wealth Management in Luxembourg. Prior to joining Catella, they held equivalent roles at Swedbank Asset Management, Luxembourg and all three have longstanding experience in international private banking.

“Catella is an owner-led bank with short decision paths, which makes them both swift and agile. Catella also has a complete toolbox in both lending and asset management and can offer truly customised solutions in a world where the standardised is cut and pasted and presented as tailor-made,” says Nygren.
