MFS adds Spector to Charter Income Trust portfolio management team


MFS Investment Management (MFS) has added to the portfolio management team of MFS Charter Income Trust with the appointment of Robert Spector as a portfolio manager.

The Fund, which has an investment objective to seek high current income, but may also consider capital appreciation, will maintain its investment objective and strategy.
Spector is an investment officer with MFS and is a global debt instruments portfolio manager for the Fund. Spector joined MFS in 2011 and was a portfolio manager and chief economist of McLean Budden from March 2005 to September 2011.
