Fort Pitt Capital Group has joined Focus Financial Partners. Fort Pitt is the third Pennsylvania-based firm to join Focus, following the addition of JFS Wealth Advisors and Quadrant Private Wealth.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with an additional office in Bonita Springs, Florida, Fort Pitt is one of the largest RIAs in Pennsylvania. The firm was founded by seven fiduciary-minded partners in 1995, and three of its founding principals, Michael Blehar, Theodore M. Bovard and Charles A. Smith, still run the day-to-day business operations, managing a team of twenty-eight full time employees. Fort Pitt is known for its high quality client service, which has allowed them to develop lasting relationships with clients who on average have been with the firm for more than 12 years.

“In our evaluation of potential partners we have come to realise that the support Focus offers to entrepreneurially-minded firms like ours is unparalleled,” says Theodore Bovard, Founding Principal and Managing Director at Fort Pitt. “Access to their resources and capital will lead Fort Pitt into its next phase of growth through acquisitions, addition of talent and expansion of client services.”

“Fort Pitt was a natural fit for the Focus partnership, given their entrepreneurial spirit, dedicated client model, and growth ambitions,” says Rudy Adolf (pictured), founder and CEO of Focus. “We are very excited to partner with the team at Fort Pitt as we continue to expand our presence in the dynamic RIA market of Pennsylvania.”
