Five new ComStage ETFs launched on Xetra

RELATED TOPICS

Four new ComStage exchange-listed bond index funds and one commodity index fund are now trading on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

Two of the ComStage ETFs – the ComStage CBK 10Y US-Treasury Future TR UCITS ETF and the ComStage CBK 10Y US-Treasury Future Short TR UCITS ETF – follow the strategy of tracking the total return of a long or short investment, which consists of two components: the performance of the futures contract on the effective interest rate of ten-year US government bonds plus interest on the non-tied capital at the effective federal funds rate.

On a long investment, the total return will rise if ten-year US government bond yields fall. On a short investment, in contrast, the total return will rise if ten-year US government bond yields rise.

Two additional ComStage ETFs – the ComStage CBK US Treasury Bond Future Short TR UCITS ETF and the ComStage CBK US Treasury Bond Future Double Short TR UCITS ETF – follow the strategy of tracking the total return of a short investment with a leverage factor of 1 or 2. This comprises the performance of the 30-year futures contract on the effective interest rate of a minimum of 15-year and a maximum of 25-year US government bonds (30Y US Treasury Future) plus interest paid on the non-tied capital at the effective federal funds rate.

The ComStage CBK Commodity ex-Agriculture Monthly EUR Hedged TR UCITS ETF offers investors access to the performance of a commodities basket consisting of twelve individual commodities from the energy and precious and industrial metals sectors and is tracked via futures contracts. An additional currency component largely neutralises the impact of exchange rate movements between the US dollar and the Euro each month.
