Investec Structured Products has appointed Colin Brockman (pictured) as Head of Intermediary Distribution.
Brockman was the National Accounts and Third Parties Manager for Investec Structured Products, part of Investec Corporate & Institutional Banking.

Brockman joined Investec from Prudential where he worked latterly in the Investment Development Intermediary Sales Team, having also had roles in Account Management and Regional and National Account Management. Prior to this, Colin was one of the top IFAs within the South East Region for a large National Brokerage.

Anant Patel, Head of Structured Equity Derivatives at Investec, says: “We are very excited to see Colin take on this position and are confident that he will lead the distribution team extremely well. This has been a successful period for us, especially since we introduced our first-of-its-kind Retirement Income Suite, and we believe that Colin will help us continue this level of activity.”

Brockman says: “Investec Structured Products is the preeminent provider of structured investment plans and I’m delighted to be leading the team – it’s a fantastic opportunity. We have come to be renowned for our well formulated and timely products, including the recently introduced Retirement Income Deposit Plan and the popular Defensive Kick-Out Plan. I will be working with the team and IFA partners to develop successful investment options for our customers.”
