Rathbones makes senior hire to Rathbone Private Office


Rathbone Investment Management has appointed Natalie Merrens as Head of Investment Solutions for Rathbone Private Office. 

Merrens has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and joins from Kleinwort Benson where she was Head of the Investment Solutions Group. At Rathbones, she will be responsible for building the Rathbone Private Office proposition and will work alongside the client-facing team to help them provide investment advice and service to Private Office clients. Natalie will report to Andrew Clark, Head of Rathbone Private Office.
Merrens began her career as an FX trader at Lehman Brothers before taking on a similar role at Citibank, where she remained for six years. Following this she moved to UBS Wealth Management where she worked as an Investment Consultant for over five years before being appointed Kleinwort Benson Private Bank’s Head of Strategic Wealth Advisory. Natalie then spent nine years as Head of the Investment Solutions Group at Kleinwort Benson before joining Rathbones.
