Standard Life welcomes 50th DFM partner as Investment Hub hits GBP1bn

James Hambro & Partners has become the 50th user of Standard Life’s investment Hub, which has no passed the milestone of GBP1 billion of assets under administration.

Graham Dow (pictured), Standard Life Head of Wealth Manager Propositions, says: “Our aim with the Investment Hub is to make the highest-rated discretionary fund managers available to our advisers, so I am delighted to welcome James Hambro & Partners on board. We look forward to working with them to strengthen our proposition and help us support advisers to run successful businesses while facilitating great client outcomes.”
James Horniman, a partner at James Hambro & Partners, says: “Our model portfolios are a key part of a total investment offering for adviser partners. Standard Life shares our ambition of delivering outstanding performance, making it easier for advisers to offer the best possible service to clients. The success of Standard Life’s platform demonstrates it is fulfilling that ambition.
“We launched the Investment Hub just over a year ago in response to adviser demand as business models were changing. Its success is demonstrated by reaching the GBP1bn assets under administration so quickly. We want to say thank you to the advisers who use the Hub, and to our DFM partners who have made it such a success.
“Pensions Freedoms have resulted in advisers seeing a huge increase in the demand for their services so we will continue to work with them to help with the implementation of a robust Central Investment Proposition to support their continued success.”
