MitonOptimal brings in strategic investor to drive future growth

Bailiwick Investments Limited has made a cash investment equal to 11 per cent of the business in MitonOptimal International, a Guernsey-headquartered discretionary fund management company.

“This investment represents an exciting time for the Company and will enable MitonOptimal to maximise growth opportunities for the Group and strengthen our balance sheet,” says Scott Campbell (pictured), MitonOptimal’s Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. “This investment comes at a time of significant new client opportunities presented by the retail distribution review ‘RDR’ type regulatory changes in almost all of the regions in which we operate. Our tie-up with Bailiwick Investments allows us to retain the owner-managed culture that is integral to the MitonOptimal ethos and our management team is very excited about our new equity partner and the next evolutionary stage in our business’s development.”
  
Simon Melling, Head of Corporate Finance at Ravenscroft Limited, the manager of Bailiwick Investments, who will be joining MitonOptimal International Limited’s board as a non-executive director, says: “We have known Scott Campbell and many of his team for a number of years and are delighted to be adding MitonOptimal to our diversified portfolio of investments.
