Kleinwort Benson appoints Annabel Breakey as Discretionary Fund Manager

Kleinwort Benson has appointed Annabel Breakey as a Discretionary Fund Manager in London.

Breakey joins from Brewin Dolphin, where she was an Assistant Investment Manager. She spent three year at the firm’s Newcastle office, working with an investment team of three and helping to managing over 300 clients with combined assets of GBP100 million.
 
Prior to this, Breakey gained experience at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Portas Communications in London. She achieved a Master’s Degree in Wealth Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) in August 2014.
 
Leigh Philpot, Head of Discretionary Fund Management at Kleinwort Benson, says: “Annabel’s growing experience in working with independent financial advisers will bolster Kleinwort Benson’s existing capabilities across discretionary fund management, cash management and lending. She will add to our comprehensive range of investment management services, and we are pleased to have her onboard.”
 
Breakey adds: “I’m excited to be joining the Kleinwort Benson DFM team, as it’s an area that the firm has strongly developed over the past year and a half. In my new role I will be focusing on the firm’s core offering to clients. I hope to grow the team’s assets under management through both direct and intermediary channels, while providing our existing clients with the exceptional levels of service that they have come to expect from Kleinwort Benson.”
