Wright, who was previously Head of Technical Services at A J Bell, will be based in Momentum’s Manchester office and will have responsibility for all administration in the UK.

Wright joins Momentum with over 20 years of experience in management and administration of SIPP and SSAS business with AJ Bell and previously with Scottish Equitable. His appointment follows the recent acquisition of the majority stake of Momentum’s UK business, Momentum Pensions Limited, Manchester and a series of senior appointments within the company.

Stewart Davies, Group CEO, Momentum Pensions, says: “We are delighted that Paul will be joining Momentum as we continue our ambitious UK growth plans for 2016 and beyond. He has extensive experience in the SIPP and SSAS industry and we look forward to working with him in order to accelerate Momentum’s expansion in the UK.”

Paul Wright says: “I am impressed by Momentum’s compelling proposition in the UK. They have deep technical knowledge and a clear commitment to best-practice standards of professionalism and personal service. Momentum is an innovator and recognises that technological and administrative excellence must be supported by strong, trusted, long-term personal relationships with advisers and their clients.”
