Emerald and Beltraith launch EmStone Advisers

RELATED TOPICS

Emerald Asset Management and Beltraith Capital, investment holding companies with approximately USD5.8 billion in assets under management, have teamed up to form EmStone Advisers.

The companies say that EmStone combines the experienced portfolio management teams from Beltraith subsidiary StoneRidge PMG Advisers and Emerald subsidiary Emerald Direct Lending Advisers to offer investors enhanced fixed income portfolio management solutions. Both StoneRidge PMG and Emerald Direct Lending also continue to operate independently.

“Our combined team averages over twenty-five years of institutional portfolio management experience with specific expertise tailored to today’s low-yield environment,” says Beltraith CEO Steven L Sanders.

“We are bringing the best of each firm together in EmStone – solid traditional fixed income investing from StoneRidge PMG and the value-added of marketplace lending investing from Emerald Direct Lending,” says Emerald CEO Joseph E Besecker.

EmStone provides actively managed, individually designed portfolios that include duration-controlled fixed income portfolios for lower volatility and structured solutions for enhanced return. EmStone is designed to capitalise on the strengths of its parent companies’ subsidiary advisers and its structure provides flexibility to efficiently deploy customised products and solutions for its clients.

EmStone is an entrepreneurially driven minority-owned money management firm. EmStone is jointly owned by Beltraith and Emerald subsidiary Emerald Advisers, with Beltraith holding a majority interest.
