Dynasty Financial Partners launches alt asset platform Dynasty Select

Dynasty Financial Partners has teamed with iCapital Network to launch the Dynasty Select platform of alternative asset managers.

Dynasty will now offer access to private equity funds, hedge funds and direct investments together with institutional-quality research and diligence, leveraging iCapital’s technology to provide end-to-end automated transactional support for financial advisors and their clients.
Dynasty Select also provides for turn-key processing and administrative solutions for the RIAs and dually-registered advisors who have curated their own roster of alternative managers.
Key features of the platform, which will be accessible through the Dynasty Desktop, include access to top private equity, hedge, credit, real estate and venture capital Limited Partnership funds with investment minimums as low as USD100,000, as well as an evolving menu of direct investment opportunities.
In addition, Dynasty Select will provide access to institutional-quality research for recommended target funds, diligence reports, fund presentations, and benchmarking tools and data, while HD video feeds will allow users to hear directly from GPs about their strategies, track records, deal sourcing, competitive landscape and case studies.
Dynasty Select has also been designed to provide a streamlined execution process allowing advisors to reserve client commitments, generate pre-filled subscription documents, collect electronic signatures and manage capital calls, as well as providing easy-to-understand reports clearly indicating capital called, amount remaining to be called and value of investments.
Dedicated feeder funds will also allow RIAs to aggregate their client commitments into a single position with administrative and investor relations support for the life of the investment.
“Our Network has attracted larger and larger RIAs and breakaway teams and Limited Partnerships in hedge funds and private equity increasingly form a core part of their asset allocation. To serve these advisors and their clients, Dynasty has built a state-of-the-art alternatives platform that includes access, education, diligence and efficient subscription processing and reporting,” says Todd Thomson (pictured), Dynasty Financial Partners’ Chairman and Investment Committee Chair. “Dynasty Select provides those advisors who utilise alternative investments access to carefully selected managers that sophisticated advisors and their clients demand. We can now provide advisors with a deep level of analysis and diligence and unparalleled technology to create a vastly improved client experience.”
“We are excited about our partnership with iCapital Network, a firm that, like Dynasty, is innovating rapidly,” says Michael Moriarty, Head of Dynasty's Investment Platform. “Their technology is state-of-the-art and extremely intuitive to use for advisors and end clients. In addition, they have built out an impressive private equity research team and provide unprecedented access to top quartile fund managers. Atrato, a leading specialist in customized alternative investment research, will be providing hedge fund due diligence. The Dynasty Select list of hedge funds will include flagship names in the hedge fund space as well as some under the radar firms that we think are differentiated.”
Lawrence Calcano, Managing Partner of iCapital Network, says: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Dynasty, one of the leading integrated service providers for the industry's top RIAs. Dynasty Select offers advisors in the Dynasty Network the access and integrated research and technology, either directly or through feeder funds, creating a truly differentiated alternative investments experience."
