Stephen Warren (pictured) has joined Prudential Fixed Income as a managing director, where he will work closely with Yves Trinquet to co-lead the firm’s Investment Risk Management and Quantitative Research team.
Prudential Fixed Income, among the largest global fixed income managers, is a part of PGIM, the global investment management businesses of Prudential Financial.
Warren was most recently the Global Head of Portfolio Construction and Risk Management for the Fixed Income and Liquidity Management teams at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. At GSAM, he was also a member of the Cross-Sector team, responsible for asset allocation within fixed income portfolios, and a member of the Fixed Income Strategy Group. Earlier in his career at GSAM, Warren worked as a portfolio manager on several strategy teams, including the government, asset-backed security, mortgage and corporate trading desks.
“I am delighted that Stephen has joined our team, bringing his more than 20 years of investment experience,” says Michael Lillard, head of Prudential Fixed Income. “I am confident that Stephen, together with Yves, will provide the right leadership to continue to evolve our world class capabilities in investment risk management and quantitative research.”
Warren received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in finance from London Business School.
