William Blair, an investment banking and asset management firm, has added four vice presidents as financial advisors in Atlanta. The team of Kim Chenevey, Joel Dobbs, Craig Savage, and Andy Thompson, along with service associates Robert Castaneda and Sarah Lundquist, join the firm’s Private Wealth Management Group.

The Atlanta team joins William Blair from Credit Suisse, where the team collectively managed more than USD1.6 billion in client assets. The team serves high-net-worth individuals and their families, business owners, foundations, and endowments.

“William Blair has a long history of serving individual and institutional clients in the Southeast through our asset management and investment banking businesses. Now, we are pleased to open our Atlanta office with the addition of a highly experienced private wealth management team,” says John R Ettelson, William Blair’s president and chief executive officer.

“We continue to expand with the right people in the right markets,” says Ryan DeVore, William Blair’s head of Private Client Advisors. “The Atlanta team shares our focus on investment excellence, as well as our commitment to integrity and client success. The team is a reflection of the high-caliber talent that we offer clients.”

“William Blair’s independent, partnership culture is an excellent fit for us,” says Craig Savage on behalf of the team. “We see their investment in a leading-edge technology platform as a tremendous resource to clients. William Blair is a highly regarded firm and we look forward to expanding our presence in the Southeast.”
