Third Space is to open of a new 46,922 sq ft (4,359 sq m) fitness club ar Sager Group’s Islington Square development in late 2017.
Developed by Sager, in association with Cain Hoy, Islington Square is the transformation of the former North London Royal Mail centre, just off Upper Street, into a new GBP400 million 4.5 acre Covent Garden style destination for London providing 263 new homes, 108 serviced apartments, retail and leisure facilities.
Third Space Islington Square will be a newly built club featuring the very best fitness amenities, classes and master trainers. Facilities will include a gymnasium floor, training space, two swimming pools (a 20 metre adult pool and a children’s/family pool) and fitness studios. The club will also feature group exercise classes, a medical and nutritional suite, spa with steam room and sauna facilities, restaurant, family area and children’s training space.
Third Space Islington Square will serve to underline the brand’s unrelenting commitment to providing an exceptional level of bespoke services, experiences and design that customers would only expect from the world’s very best premium members clubs.
Third Space Islington Square will be the first Family Club unveiled by Third Space. Third Space has undertaken extensive customer research in Islington and the demographics show that the local community contains families with pre-school age children and teenagers. Third Space has designed the new club to meet the fitness needs of both families and the brand’s existing customer base of young professionals and fashion conscious fitness devotees.
The fitting out of the new Third Space Islington Square will begin in early 2017 with the new club scheduled to open in late 2017. Third Space Islington Square will be the fifth Third Space the others located at Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, Soho and Marylebone. All provide a truly extensive range of fitness and lifestyle services, each of which is best in class.
