True Potential Investments’ Wealth Platform has exceeded gross sales of GBP1 billion in 2015, for the second consecutive year.

Figures unveiled at the financial and technology services company’s annual Outlook and Opportunities conference in Manchester today also show that the True Potential Wealth Platform attracted more than 20,000 new clients last year.

Through its own investment fund range, True Potential Investments has also been able to pass on large savings to customers. Last year more than GBP1.3 billion was invested in True Potential Investments’ 18 funds by almost 30,000 investors, saving GBP1 million.

October 2015 marked the launch of True Potential Investments’ new Managed Portfolio Series (MPS) which is on course to exceed 10,000 clients in its first year. The range of multi-manager discretionary portfolios, are designed to provide clients with a dynamic way to maximise returns, manage volatility and lower costs with no investment management fee applied. Through the MPS, clients could see savings of more than GBP600,000 annually.

Meanwhile True Potential Investments’ own pension, which is free to clients, now has over 18,000 clients who have invested more than GBP500m and made a saving of almost GBP2 million, as the firm continues to drive down costs.

Overall True Potential Investments will save clients almost GBP3.6m annually. The firm says this is only made possible because of its client-first approach to wealth management and its strategic partnerships with world class investment managers Goldman Sachs, Allianz, Schroders, Allianz, Columbia Threadneedle, SEI, Close Brothers and 7IM.

Mark Henderson, senior partner at True Potential Investments, says: “The figures that we are able to announce today underline what a significant year 2015 was for the firm. Our aim has always been to revolutionise the way wealth management is delivered to customers for years to come and we are achieving that through our approach to investing and technology.

“We profoundly believe that clients need long-term savings goals combined with high quality investment managers and technology that deepens the relationship between client and advisers.

“Our Wealth Strategy Funds and Managed Portfolio Series have performed exceptionally well and we have been able to deliver almost GBP3.6m of savings to clients while providing investment opportunities that are normally reserved for only the very wealthy. We are grateful to our advisers and investment partners who have helped us achieve these impressive results.”
