Six Direxion leveraged and inverse treasury ETFs switch to ICE indexes


Direxion is changing the benchmarks of six leveraged and inverse exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from NYSE indices to ICE indices.

The funds in question are: Direxion Daily 7-10 Year Treasury Bear 1X Shares; Direxion Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bear 1X Shares, Direxion Daily 7-10 Year Treasury Bull 3X Shares;Direxion Daily 7-10 Year Treasury Bear 3X Shares; Direxion Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bull 3X Shares; and Direxion Daily 20+ Year Treasury Bear 3X Shares.
"Choosing Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) as the new benchmark index provider for our Treasury ETFs is the result of a thorough due diligence process," says Eric Falkeis, Direxion's Chief Operating Officer. "Their proven expertise in index design and calculation services were important factors in our decision."
