Meanwhile, Derry Pickford and Marianna Georgakopoulou have been appointed as Joint Heads of Ashburton Investments’ Asset Allocation team in London. Pickford has been at the firm for a number of years leading its macro analysis while Georgakopoulou joined last year as Multi Asset Strategist from Pivot Capital Management (Monaco). As part of the re-structure, Georgakopoulou will take over day-to-day portfolio responsibility for the Asset Management Funds while Pickford will manage the Global Multi Asset Funds.
Peter Bourne, Managing Director, Ashburton (Jersey) Limited, says: “These promotions demonstrate depth and continuity within Ashburton’s international business as we look to position ourselves strongly for the years ahead. I am delighted that we were able to draw on the combined wealth of knowledge and expertise within our investment teams in both Jersey and London. Given the growing emphasis we are placing on our developed market footprint, we felt it was important to appoint a Chief Investment Officer to lead the development of our global product range, alongside a strong asset allocation team who will build on our 32 year track record in multi asset investing.”
