HSBC appointed administrator to USD2 billion New Capital UCITS Fund

HSBC Securities Services, part of HSBC's Global Banking and Markets business, has been appointed administrator to New Capital UCITS Fund Plc, the funds arm of EFG Asset Management (EFGAM) – an international provider of actively managed investment solutions.  

The appointment of HSBC in Ireland to provide administrative services to approximately USD USD2 billion of assets extends an existing strategic relationship, which has grown over a number of years.  

Lisa Martensson (pictured), Head of Client Management, HSBC Securities Services, Ireland, says: "We are delighted to increase our offering to EFGAM and further strengthen our global relationship. EFGAM is an important HSBC client, which makes this a very exciting opportunity."  

HSBC Securities Services With USD USD6.2 trillion assets under custody, HSBC Securities Services offers institutional investors a wide-range of services, including global custody, direct custody, fund administration, global distribution support, transfer agency, investment operations and middle office services.

New Capital UCITS funds are accessible via over 20 platforms and are registered for sale in Austria, France, Germany, Hong Kong (SFC-authorised funds only), Italy (qualified investors only), Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Singapore (accredited investors only), Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
