Investment management firm Quilter Cheviot has expanded its team with two new regional hires.
The Salisbury office has appointed ex-Ashcourt MPS head, Adam Hughes. While, the Bristol office has also expanded its team with the hire of Owen Jennings from Investec Wealth & Investment.
Adam Hughes joins Quilter Cheviot as Investment Director after 20 years working with wealth management firm Ashcourt Rowan. As well as heading Ashcourt Rowan’s Managed Portfolio Service, Adam was also a core member of the firm’s asset allocation and investment committee.
In his new position, Adam will be managing client portfolios, using Quilter Cheviot’s extensive resources and research department. He will also assist in developing the firm’s private client book by creating links with businesses and professionals throughout the South of England.
Hughes says: “My new role at Quilter Cheviot offers me the chance to bring my years of experience to bear. I wanted to move to an environment where I could capitalise on personal relationships and focus on providing a service driven by the needs of the client.
“It is clear to me that Quilter Cheviot share this view and realise the importance of working in partnership with clients and IFAs, which was ultimately a major factor in my decision to join the team”.
Jennings has joined the growing team at the Bristol office of Quilter Cheviot as an Investment Manager.
Jennings joins Quilter Cheviot from Investec and brings 10 years’ of financial services experience with him. Owen is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and holds a Masters in Wealth Management.
In his new position, Owen will be managing portfolios and will be using his knowledge to broaden and create links with businesses and professionals throughout the Bristol area. Owen is an experienced investment manager who has a strong engagement with private clients and charities and has worked closely with IFAs and professional intermediaries for many years.
