Element Pointe Advisors launches independent RIA firm

Element Pointe Advisors, an independently owned SEC-registered investment advisor, has launched its multi-family office and investment management firm specialising in ultra high net worth (UHNW) clients.

Led by co-founders Carlos Dominguez and David Savir, Element Pointe recognises that UHNW families and individuals need objective advice. The firm will operate as an outsourced Chief Investment Officer to UHNW families, and as an advisor and portfolio manager for high net worth clients.

"We believe that wealthy families need independent advice and investment management in order to best preserve, grow and pass on their wealth," says Savir. "As an independent, fee-only registered investment advisor, we have a fiduciary responsibility to put our clients first at all times."

Both Dominguez and Savir come from experienced backgrounds. With over 21-years in finance, Dominguez has been involved in all aspects of the investment process, and prior to co-founding Element Pointe, held the position of Vice President at JP Morgan Private Bank. Prior to JP Morgan, Dominguez was a portfolio manager for a long-short equity hedge fund focused on large and mid-cap US equities.

Before co-founding Element Pointe, Savir also held the position of Vice President at JP Morgan Private Bank, where he directed a team of investment professionals in advising UHNW clients. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, advising high net worth clients in managing their investment portfolios.

As managing principals of Element Pointe Advisors, both will be responsible for guiding the firm's overall investment strategy while staying involved in portfolio management and advisory services.

"At Element Pointe, we are able to leverage our investment expertise and access to world-class research and technology for our clients," says Dominguez. "Our approach enables us to remain nimble in building and managing customised portfolios, and you can expect us to make significant tactical adjustments when asset classes become over or under-valued."

Element Pointe Advisors' open-architecture investment platform enables the firm to select managers and funds that it believes are the best fit for clients, and allows the firm to focus on its primary goal: putting clients' interests first.
