Cazenove Capital Management appoints Caspar Rock as CIO

Cazenove Capital Management has appointed Caspar Rock (pictured) as the firm’s new Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He will join the company in the third quarter of this year and will report to Andrew Ross, Chief Executive of Cazenove Capital Management.

Caspar joins from Architas Multi Manager Ltd, AXA’s GBP20 billionn European retail multi-manager, where he was Chief Investment Officer. At Architas he had responsibility for all aspects of the investment activities, including investment philosophy, process and team.

With an investment career spanning 29 years, Caspar has a proven long-term track record in multi-asset investing. He previously headed up the multi manager business at AXA Framlington from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, he managed a range of directly invested equity and bond portfolios, and was Head of European Equities at Framlington as well as a member of the Healthcare team. 

Richard Jeffrey will take on the role of Chief Economist for Cazenove Capital Management.
