Direxion launches two monthly 1.25x leveraged mutual funds

Direxion has added two funds to its existing Lightly Leveraged Mutual Fund lineup.

The Direxion Monthly NASDAQ-100 Bull 1.25x Fund (DXNLX) seeks monthly investment results, before fees and expenses, of 125 per cent of the performance of the NASDAQ-100 Index. The Direxion Monthly NASDAQ-100 Bear 1.25x Fund (DXNSX) seeks monthly investment results, before fees and expenses, of 125% of the inverse of the performance of the NASDAQ-100 Index.

"We continue to seek ways for investors to gain exposure to different indexes and asset classes that allow them to utilize various leverage points," says Ed Egilinsky, Managing Director at Direxion. "Along with our 1.25x Leveraged ETFs and Monthly High Yield Bull 1.2x Fund, these new Funds are part of a growing suite of lightly leveraged solutions that allow investors to gain magnified market exposure, while minimixing the risk of compounding."
