Bid Capital appoints new managing partner


Bid Capital has appointed Tariq Mateen Khan as the firm’s new Managing Partner. He will be responsible for all financial institution related projects in the MENA and US region. 

Khan brings over 30 years of experience in the global financial institutions market and has worked in countries such as EMEA, APAC and USA. He specialises in the areas of payment services, loans syndications and corporate and SME banking, credit risk management. Prior to joining Bid Capital, Khan was the CEO of Habib Bank in New York USA. He has also held senior banking positions with American Express Bank, JP Morgan Chase and Mashreq bank.

Khan says: "Success requires the right people, a strong focus on results and on building long-term client and partner relationships. Dr Abdulrahman and I share the same values for success and I look forward to leading the company to build upon these values and take our business to new heights."

Dr Abdulrahman Al Ansari, Bid Capital's Chairman, says: "I'm very happy to have Tariq on board. Tariq brings with him sound business and operational acumen, solid experience and outstanding leadership qualities, precisely the attributes required at this stage.
