Investec Wealth & Investment appoints Svenja Keller as financial planning director in Birmingham

Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has appointed Svenja Keller as Financial Planning Director at its Birmingham office.

Keller has 15 years of experience in financial services, in the UK and overseas. She has worked in the financial planning industry for the past eight years. Prior to joining Investec Wealth & Investment, she worked in a similar capacity at UBS and previously at PwC. She has also held roles at John Lamb Partnership, Lehman Brothers and the HVB Group.
 
Keller is a Chartered Financial Planner with the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute and is also a member of STEP (Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners). She will report to Chris Aitken, Head of Financial Planning for IW&I UK.
 
Keller says: “Demand for financial planning services continues to rise, driven in part by on-going changes to government policy and regulation. Investec Wealth & Investment is focused on delivering the best financial planning service and product suite in the UK, and I am delighted to be joining a firm with such an outstanding profile in the market, in the UK and in the Midlands.”
