Fine Art Insurance Specialist Sarah Johnson Court joins Alliant


Fine art specialist Sarah Johnson Court is joining Alliant Insurance Services. As Vice President, she will service a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth clients the world over, while playing a key role in expanding Alliant’s reach within the fine art sector.

“Sarah is a dynamic insurance professional who operates with an inside perspective on the fine art sector, gained through years of study, travel, and hands-on experience,” says Jeff Moench, Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director, Alliant Specialty. “Sarah has achieved remarkable results by focusing on her clients’ unique needs and providing high-end products and services that match their sophisticated requirements.”

Johnson Court, who received “40 Under 40” honours from Business Insurance and the lauded “Power Broker” designation from Risk & Insurance, is highly regarded for handling the far-reaching and complex risks associated with fine art collections. Additionally, she has experience working with high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, and athletes to insure homes, yachts, wine collections, private planes, and other high-value items. The Miami-based Johnson Court also offers consulting and expertise in life insurance, kidnap and ransom, event cancelation, and other related solutions.

Prior to joining Alliant, Johnson Court was Director of the Global Fine Art Practice of an international insurance brokerage firm advising on corporate and private collections all over the world. She also spent six years in London working with some of the world’s top private and commercial collections, where she was a Lloyd’s of London Broker.

Johnson Court is a well-traveled student of the arts, earning her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her master’s degree in art history from Richmond, The American International University in London. She is also active in ArtTable, a national organisation dedicated to advancing women’s professional leadership in the visual arts.
