Knill James appoints of Kieran Smith

Kieran Smith has been appointed as Senior Manager of Management Accounting and Outsourcing by Knill James Chartered Accountants as the Sussex firm continues to grow.

Knill James, based in Lewes, East Sussex, has already announced six senior appointments to its new tax team and eight other new appointments across the business in 2015.

A former Head of Finance at the Diva Group in Crawley, where he headed up the finance function and provided leadership in financial strategy, Kieran also spent eight years at Mazars LLP and has always worked in Sussex. Educated in Worthing, his other specialisms include audit, due diligence, forensic investigations, acquisitions and disposals and group restructuring.

Knill James was established in 1887 and is a member of the UK200 Group. It now has a more than 60 members of staff, including a 13-strong tax team which designs bespoke strategies to help clients – from individuals to large companies – optimise their tax affairs.
