Jeremy Parrish, formerly CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Switzerland, has been appointed as the third Independent Non-Executive Director to the Board of Julius Baer International Ltd, alongside Sir Hector Sants and Richard Wohanka.
The Board, chaired by Sir Hector, oversees the UK and Irish business, one of the largest locations for Julius Baer globally. Parrish has a broad experience leading wealth management and banking businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and will bring further independent strength to the Board. He will take specific responsibility for the Risk & Audit Committee on the Board.
Parrish has also worked as a consultant for Deloitte's restructuring and financial services practice, and is Chairman of The Challenger Trust, a charity for young people from deprived areas of the UK.
Sir Hector Sants, Chairman of Julius Baer International Ltd, says: “I am delighted to welcome Jeremy to Julius Baer. He brings a broad international wealth management and banking experience to the UK and Irish Board, and will be a key member as we build out the business in the UK and Ireland.”
