THEAM, the BNP Paribas Investment Partners subsidiary specialising in capital-protected, indexed and model-driven management, has appointed Isabelle Bourcier as Head of ETF and indexed fund activities.

Bourcier will be responsible for accelerating the development of THEAM's indexed and ETF investment solutions and coordinating their implementation in key markets, including in France and more widely across Europe.  Isabelle will lead the indexed management team, which currently consists of approximately 20 employees based in Paris, as well as supervising a new team, currently being recruited, which will focus on the sale of indexed fund and ETF solutions.

Bourcier will report to Denis Panel, CEO of THEAM, and will be a member of THEAM's Executive Committee.

Bourcier says: “I am very pleased to be joining THEAM, the development of which I've been following since it was created five years ago.  I am looking forward to the challenge of integrating BNP Paribas Group's expertise in indexed management and I am keen to bring my expertise to the BNP Paribas range of indexed investment and ETF solutions in Europe.”

Denis Panel, CEO of THEAM, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Isabelle Bourcier to THEAM.  She is a well-known name in indexed management and her appointment will give new momentum to the distribution of our indexed fund and ETF ranges and strengthen their sales in Europe.”

Frédéric Janbon, CEO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners, says: “Isabelle Bourcier's renowned experience in promoting and bringing to market indexed investment solutions is a major asset for BNP Paribas Investment Partners and demonstrates our desire to accelerate the development of our indexed management and ETF platform.”
