Pitmans Trustees (PTL), an independent trustee and governance services provider, has expanded its presence in Leeds with the appointment of Keith Lewis as Client Director.

Richard Butcher, Managing Director, says: “With so much legislation and change continuing to happen in the industry the demand for independent trustees continues to grow all over the UK as schemes are looking for professional support and guidance. This, coupled with our own personal growth, means we continue to invest in experienced and talented individuals. Keith’s wealth of technical understanding and industry knowledge makes him a key addition to our team.

“Keith will act as an independent professional trustee for both our DB and DC scheme clients, and will join our Governance Advisory Arrangement. We are confident that Keith will play a key role in providing and implementing high-quality solutions for our clients.’’

Lewis says: “PTL is a leading organisation managed by leaders in the field. I was attracted by their pragmatic and personal approach and I am looking forward to helping them continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.”

Lewis is an actuary with 30 years of pension consulting experience. He was previously a Partner at Aon Hewitt and Partner at Watson Wyatt in Leeds, where he advised trustees and companies with DB and DC schemes ranging from GBP5 million to GBP3 billion in assets. He has also worked with many multi-nationals with overseas parent companies.

*The 2016 financial year saw PTL achieve a 24 per cent revenue growth and attract 30 new clients.
