LLBH Private Wealth Management has appointed Jeff Fuhrman as its president.
Fuhrman joined LLBH in July 2013 as its chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
In his new role as president, Fuhrman will retain responsibility for the human capital, financial management, operations, technology and marketing efforts of the firm while also focusing on LLBH’s growth initiatives.
“We are thankful for Jeff’s steady hand and look forward to working with him as we continue to evolve into a world class Registered Investment Advisor with extensive resources and capabilities to offer our clients, enhanced opportunities for our employees and sustained value for the company,” says Kevin Burns, a founding partner at LLBH. “Jeff is ideally suited to help us reach this next phase of our development.”
In a career spanning nearly 25 years, Fuhrman has held key operational and financial roles across a variety of industries. Fuhrman recently spent nine years as president and chief operating officer of IMG Artists, in the arts and entertainment field. Prior to IMG Artists, he was president of Gemini Voice Solutions and an investment banker with Salomon Smith Barney. Fuhrman has served as an adviser to a number of businesses in the film, music, luxury goods and industrial services sectors.
“When I joined LLBH three years ago, I was excited by the boundless potential for the firm. Today, I am even more enthusiastic about the opportunities which lie ahead of us,” says Fuhrman. “At a time when the independent advisory space is poised for explosive growth, I am honoured to help lead this extraordinary group of professionals to even greater heights.”
