Guggenheim to close emerging markets real estate ETF

Guggenheim Investments, the global asset management and investment advisory business of Guggenheim Partners, is to close and liquidate Guggenheim Emerging Markets Real Estate ETF (EMRE).

In August 2016, the board of trustees of Claymore Exchange-Traded Fund Trust 2 approved the closing and subsequent liquidation of EMRE.
The last day of trading on the NYSE Arca will be 20 September.
EMRE has USD2 million in assets, or less than 0.0007 per cent of Guggenheim Investments’ total USD29 billion in exchange-traded assets.
“Guggenheim Investments remains committed to the US ETP business,” says William Belden, managing director and head of ETF business development. “As a leader in the market, we are dedicated to providing high-quality investment solutions for our clients.”
