Rowan Dartington has launched Rowan Dartington International, a new division which extends the group’s discretionary fund management (DFM) services to English-speaking advisers based around the world.
The new entity provides the international adviser and trustee communities and their clients with discretionary investment management services available across different wealth platforms.
To head up this new division, Rowan Dartington has appointed Stephen Kevan. He joins from ABC Capital Markets in Mauritius where he spent five years, most recently developing the Chinese-Mauritian conglomerate's wealth management offering. Kevan, who will be based in Bristol, also previously held senior positions at Old Mutual International and Barclays Wealth.
“Our initial focus will be to deliver appropriately adapted versions of our highly successful UK DFM services into the international IFA and trustee sector," says Kevan. “We are known in the UK for working with our IFA partners to deliver collective and fully bespoke solutions that are flexible in their design.”
“Rowan Dartington’s DFM services have been extremely successful in the past few years and we definitely want to replicate this internationally. Our experience has shown us that there is a significant demand from English-speaking advisers based abroad for this type of service. Stephen is joining us at an exciting time for Rowan Dartington and his appointment will give a focus to our international expansion," says Rowan Dartington’s executive chairman Graham Coxell.
Currently dedicated to international advisers only, Rowan Dartington International will look at developing its offering to offshore private clients in the future.
