Eaton Vance Investment Counsel expands team

Eaton Vance Investment Counsel (EVIC), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance, has appointed Lawrence T Gingrow III as vice president and director of wealth planning and Matthew S Morse as vice president and director of equity strategy.

“Larry and Matt are great additions to our team and we are excited to have them join us," says David C. McCabe, president of EVIC. "Their backgrounds and breadth of experience strengthen our capability to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions and superior investment performance to our clients."
Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Gingrow served as director at PRW Wealth Management and as vice president at The Coyle Company, a generational wealth transfer planning firm. Before entering the wealth management field, he spent eight years as an attorney, most recently at Pierce Atwood, where he designed estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients.
Before joining EVIC, Morse served as chief investment officer of Baldwin Brothers and as director of US equities at Crestwood Advisors where he developed and managed the firm's US equity investment process and focused equity strategy. Earlier, Morse worked at Capital Group where he covered consumer, information technology, and financial companies for the global institutional group.
