Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has appointed Louise Hall as head of the firm’s London office.

She takes over from David Bulteel, who is becoming head of IW&I’s international division.

Hall joined IW&I as a graduate trainee in 1989 and has led the firm’s specialist charities and not-for-profit division since 2004. Under her leadership the charities division has grown significantly and the firm currently manages GBP2.8 billion on behalf of nearly 1,200 charities. Hall will continue to provide dedicated investment management and strategic advice to her charity and not-for-profit clients.

Jonathan Wragg, Investec Wealth & Investment chief executive, says: “In addition to playing an instrumental role in expanding our charities division, Louise has been a highly regarded member of our senior management team in London for many years and is ideally suited to take over the leadership of our largest office.

“My sincere thanks go to David Bulteel for his tremendous contribution to the growth of the London team. I have every confidence that he will bring the same level of success to our international division.”

Hall adds: “I am excited by this opportunity to lead the London office and look forward to working closely with my colleagues across the business to ensure we continue to deliver the highest level of service and investment management expertise to our clients.”
