Foundation Source, a provider of management and advisory services for private foundations, has appointed William L Brennan as head of institutional sales.
In his position, Brennan will lead strategic alliances and the development of the institutional business.
He reports to Joseph Fuschillo, chief distribution officer, and will work closely with Julie Binder, director of strategic alliances, to develop deeper institutional relationships for Foundation Source.
“Bill has developed deep relationships with product specialists, complex managers and home office executives at many of our strategic partners, such as Morgan Stanley and UBS,” says CEO Susan Friedlander Calzone. “He has had great success throughout his career in the corporate, endowment, and public fund institutional client segments. He is a strong addition to our distribution team.”
With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Brennan has a track record of success working with all segments of the institutional and intermediary-driven markets, including foundations, endowments, family offices, wire houses and consultants.
Prior to joining Foundation Source, Brennan was managing director at Windhaven Investment Management, where he launched the firm’s institutional sales effort and provided coverage for all institutional investors, consultants, and distribution firms for the east coast territory. Previously, he was a managing director in sales at K2 Advisors, led the sales and relationship management efforts at P&A Capital Advisors, and managed the institutional and distribution sales teams at US Trust and Avatar Associates.
