First Trust Global Portfolios has launched Class B Distributing shares for the First Trust Global Equity Income UCITS ETF on the London Stock Exchange.
The fund seeks to provide investors with investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of the Nasdaq Global High Equity Income Index.
The index employs a rules-based stock selection methodology which uses fundamental screens and a plough-back based weighting methodology to objectively select dividend-paying stocks from the Nasdaq Global Index.
“We are delighted to be listing the Class B shares of First Trust Global Equity Income UCITS ETF,” says Eric Anderson, senior vice president of First Trust Advisors. “With this, the 14th First Trust ETF listing on the London Stock Exchange, we’ll be bringing select global dividend-paying stocks in a structure that allows investors the choice of receiving their dividends on a quarterly basis (Class B shares) or allowing them to accumulate in the fund (Class A shares).”
