Brian Gibson and Lisa Marlin have joined Coho Partners, an independent, employee-owned investment firm that manages approximately USD4.8 billion in individually managed account assets on behalf of institutions, individuals, and UMA programmes.
Coho Partners was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
Gibson is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management guidance on all operational aspects of the firm. He will report to Glenn Dever, president.
“Brian is a great cultural fit,” says Dever. “His attention to detail and problem solving ability will undoubtedly improve productivity and enhance our ability to integrate technological efficiencies.”
Marlin (pictured) is responsible for enhancing the internal client servicing efforts at the firm. She will report to Wayne LeSage, client relations director.
“Lisa elevates our client service efforts by bringing valuable experience combined with a methodical work ethic,” says LeSage. “Lisa came highly recommended to us and stands to be a vital asset in our effort to consistently maintain excellent client service. She is a pleasure to work with and a natural fit within our organisation.”
Before joining Coho Partners, Gibson spent eight years at Peirce Park Group in various roles, most recently as investment operations manager and a member of the investment committee.
Marlin managed sub-adviser reporting and communications at the Nationwide Investment Management Group. Prior to Nationwide, she spent 12 years at Turner Investments where she managed the firm’s institutional client relations support efforts. Marlin began her financial career with Morgan Stanley Investment Management/Miller Anderson Sherrerd.
