Fieldpoint Private, a wealth advisory and private banking firm serving ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions, has appointed Richard Land as managing director and senior adviser.
His practice is based in Fieldpoint Private's Greenwich, Connecticut office.
Land joins the firm following 12 years with Citigroup. Most recently, he was with Citi Private Bank in Greenwich and Westport, Connecticut, where he worked with families and entrepreneurs on more than USD300 million in investments, personal and business banking and credit. In prior years at Citi, he was a business banking officer, working with companies on commercial lending, insurance and cash management.
Land says: "People I respect a great deal told me about the quality and integrity of the Fieldpoint team. The leadership team had run wealth planning, investment research and credit, globally, for some of the biggest firms in the world. Here they work directly with clients every day. Their knowledge and decision making is literally just steps away, and my clients are already experiencing the difference that makes."
Robert Matthews, Fieldpoint Private president and CEO, says: "In a remarkably short period of time, Richard earned his place among the most effective and successful private bankers in one of the most competitive regions in the country. His clients are fortunate to have his services, and we couldn't be more pleased that he has chosen to bring those services here to Fieldpoint."
