PIMCO appoints SVP for business development in the Nordics

PIMCO has appointed Kristina Najjar-Wahlgren as a senior vice president to lead business development for the Nordic region. 

Najjar-Wahlgren (pictured) was previously head of business development for the Nordic region at Aberdeen Asset Management for almost 10 years. 
 
Will Pompa, PIMCO senior vice president and head of the Nordic region, says: “Kristina is a valuable addition to our team with her broad skillset in business development in combination with a strong network of relationships and deep local market insight.”
 
Craig Dawson, managing director and head of PIMCO EMEA, says: “Kristina is an extremely talented business executive and we are very pleased to welcome her to PIMCO. PIMCO has hired more than 200 employees this year, including more than 40 investment professionals.
