RBC Wealth Management-US has launched an advice and solutions group led by Ann Senne.
Senne, who previously served as senior vice president and head of wealth management product for US Bank, returns to RBC where she spent more than 20 years of her career.
"We are thrilled to welcome Ann back to RBC Wealth Management," says Michael Armstrong, CEO of RBC Wealth Management-US "In this newly created role, she will be instrumental in strengthening our advisory and planning platforms, which will be strategic drivers of growth for the firm and key initiatives in response to the US Department of Labor's fiduciary rule. I know her energy and passion for the business will help propel our strategy forward and ensure we are providing our clients and our advisers with the services and resources they need to be successful."
During her 20-year tenure at RBC, Senne served in many roles, most recently as head of global client experience, leading the development and delivery of a client experience strategy for RBC Wealth Management. She also managed the teams responsible for the mutual fund and retirement solutions in the US as well as the company's North American fee-based programmes.
"Under the leadership of Michael Armstrong and Tom Sagissor, RBC Wealth Management is poised to do industry-leading things in the wealth management space," Senne says. "I am excited about their vision and to re-join the firm in a role that combines into one seamless package key elements that advisors need to truly serve their clients."
Senne began at RBC Wealth Management in 1994 as an internal auditor and later held several positions managing advisory products. In 2006, she was promoted to director of the firm's investment adviser group and oversaw significant growth in the US advisory programme product area. In 2007, her role expanded to include management of investment manager research, alternative investment and mutual fund platforms. Three years later, she was named head of global managed solutions, where she managed the delivery of a suite of products and services for RBC's global wealth management businesses (Canada, British Isles, Singapore and the US), including fee-based programmes, mutual funds, alternatives, annuities and retirement solutions.
