Three BNP Paribas metals and energy sector ETCs launch on Xetra

RELATED TOPICS

Three exchange traded commodities (ETCs) issued by BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance are now trading on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The new ETCs give investors access to the performance of industrial and precious metals as well as to the energy sector.

The reference indices from the Rogers International Commodity Enhanced index family track the respective futures contracts with varying maturities.

The limited term of the futures contracts requires a switch prior to expiry in exchange for a futures contract with the next expiry date (rollover). Possible rollover losses are minimised through an optimised procedure for selecting futures contracts. A rollover takes place twice a year and takes five trading days.

The indices are denominated in US dollars.

The BNPP RICI Metalle (TR) Enhanced ETC enables investors to participate for the first time in the performance of the commodity basket containing the following industrial and precious metals: aluminium, copper, gold, lead, nickel, palladium, platinum, silver, tin and zinc. The BNPP RICI Industriemetalle (TR) Enhanced ETC is available for investors interested only in industrial metals.

The BNPP RICI Energie (TR) Enhanced ETC enables investors to participate in energy sector performance. The reference index contains futures contracts on crude oil, heating oil, natural gas and petrol.
