Polen Capital to launch international growth strategy

RELATED TOPICS

Polen Capital is to add an international growth strategy to its suite of products in early 2017, providing clients with another access point to the firm’s bottom-up, concentrated investment philosophy and process.

Todd Morris (pictured), director of research at Polen Capital, has been appointed as portfolio manager of the new international growth strategy, effective December 2016.

In his role as director of research, Morris was responsible for globalising the firm’s research effort and leading the execution of research for the focus growth and global growth strategies.

Brandon Ladoff, who joined Polen Capital in 2013 and has served as global research analyst since, has been promoted to succeed Morris as director of research.

“The international growth strategy is a natural extension of our global research efforts and will enhance the intellectual capital, long-term stability and growth opportunities of our firm,” says Stan Moss, chief executive officer of Polen Capital. “I am excited to have Todd leading our international equity effort given his strong experience in applying the Polen Capital process to a global opportunity set. He has demonstrated leadership and service throughout his career. Todd and Brandon are shining examples of our firm’s ability to provide opportunities for our professionals to expand and grow.”

Prior to joining Polen Capital in 2011, Morris held research and marketing roles with Prudential Insurance and Millennium Global Asset Management, respectively. Morris also served for seven years in the US Navy.

“After a global talent search, it was clear that Todd’s expertise and experience in implementing our investment process and philosophy as well as his passion for protecting and creating value for our clients made him by far the best candidate for this portfolio manager position,” says Dan Davidowitz, CIO and co-portfolio manager of Polen Capital’s focus growth strategy. “I am thrilled that after meeting many talented investors, the one we are most confident in to launch our international growth strategy is one of our own.”
