First Asset Hamilton Capital European Bank ETF changes portfolio manager

Signature Global Asset Management, a division of CI Investments and an affiliate of First Asset Investment Management, is to assume portfolio management responsibilities for the First Asset Hamilton Capital European Bank ETF.

John Hadwen, vice-president, portfolio management and portfolio manager, will be responsible for security selection for the ETF. 
 
In connection with the change, the manager intends to change the name of the ETF to First Asset European Bank ETF. The ETF's investment objective and TSX tickers will not change.  
 
Signature Global Asset Management, a division of CI Investments led by chief investment officer Eric Bushell, manages over USD50 billion in core equity, balanced and income-oriented funds, and is CI Investments' largest in-house portfolio management group.
 
Hadwen specialises in the global financial services sector and is responsible for stock selection in the sector for Signature Funds, overseeing approximately USD5 billion in assets under management.
