Rowan Dartington has hired investment manager Oliver Mustin to join Hitesh Mistry and Paul Smith in the firm’s Birmingham office.

Mustin, a chartered wealth manager and chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), is joining the firm after nine years with BRI Wealth Management.

As a private client manager at BRI, he provided both discretionary and advisory investment management services for private clients, family trusts, charities, and pensions.

Mustin will continue with these responsibilities along with offering DFM solutions to SJP Partners.

From January to June 2016, Mustin was also an active member of the Wealth Management Association’s Millennial Forum. During his six month tenure, he contributed to the forum’s strategy to develop the next generation of wealth management leaders and helped generate new ideas for specific challenges faced by the industry.

Rowan Dartington’s executive chairman Graham Coxell says: “With this new hire, we are responding to a growing demand for our wealth management services in the Birmingham region and across the UK. We are pleased to welcome Oliver, an experienced investment manager but also someone with a genuine passion for wealth management as his involvement with the WMA can attest.”
