Efficient Market Advisors tops USD1bn in assets

RELATED TOPICS

Exchange traded fund strategist Efficient Market Advisors (EMA) is now directly or indirectly investing over USD1 billion on behalf of investor clients and their financial advisers.

Over 453 US-based financial advisers allocate their client's assets to EMA's proprietary ETF strategies.

Since EMA's founding in 2004, the firm has focused on building lower cost, transparent ETF strategies on behalf of individual investors.

"Back in 2004, our goal was to replicate the institutional consultant process of investing for retail investors through the use of ETFs. The ETF was a transformative financial product that made this possible," says Herb Morgan (pictured), founder, CEO and chief investment officer.

"We are traditional top-down macro-economic oriented investors who have never been enticed by black-box quantitative strategies," says Morgan.

In the 30 June 2016 edition of the Morningstar Managed ETF Landscape report, EMA strategies received high rankings when measured by five-year returns and selected risk statistics.

"We are very grateful for the trust and confidence placed in EMA by over 450 financial advisers and thousands of investors," says Morgan.
