Ossiam smart beta ETF launches on Xetra

Ossiam has listed an exchange traded fund focused on dividend yield and historical volatility of European stock corporations in the STOXX Europe 600 index on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The Ossiam iStoxx Europe Minimum Variance High Dividend NR UCITS ETF enables investors to participate in the performance of STOXX Europe 600 corporations that offer high dividend yields and have sufficient liquidity.
An additional optimisation process takes account of the historical volatility of equities as well as their correlation level in order to minimise the volatility of the reference index.
At the time of index composition, no single stock may be represented by more than 4.5 per cent, no sector by more than 20 and no single country by more than 50 per cent. Moreover, it is ensured that the index is composed of at least 30 stocks.
