Citi Private Bank strengthens investments team

Citi Private Bank has appointed Kristen Bitterly Michell as head of investment counselling for the east region of the US.

Bitterly Michell will be based in New York and report to Jonathan Leach, head of North America investments counsellors.
Bitterly Michell will be responsible for leading investment services for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
“Kristen brings nearly two decades of industry experience and expertise in investments. Her team leadership and client coverage will further elevate our client franchise,” says Leach.
Prior to this role, Bitterly Michell served as capital markets head of structured solutions for Citi Private Bank. She led a team of product specialists that provided ultra-high-net-worth investors with cross asset derivative strategies, bespoke structured products and hedging and liquidity strategies.
Prior to joining Citi, Bitterly Michell led structured product sales to Latin American investors at Credit Suisse and previously provided structured derivative solutions to private investor clients at JPMorgan.
“I’m excited to assume this new role leading the investment counsellor team in the east region, one of our largest regions globally at Citi Private Bank. I look forward to expanding my capital markets skill set from previous roles to offer comprehensive investment strategies for our clients,” says Bitterly Michell.
