Andersen Tax promotes MDs in San Francisco


Andersen Tax has promoted Chris Leung, Emily Hall, Sabrina Chin and Shail Shah to managing director.

Leung and Chin are members of the private client services team, while Hall and Shah are members of the commercial and state and local tax teams, respectively.
They will join the team of 24 managing directors in Northern California.
Leung has over 16 years of experience in working with high net worth family groups and individuals, fiduciaries, partnerships and related entities. His expertise includes analysis of foreign investments, multigenerational wealth transfers, and estate, gift, and trust planning.
Hall has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. Her practice area focuses on corporate federal and state tax compliance, consulting, and provision services for public and privately held clients. As part of the commercial group, Hall focuses on helping clients coordinate corporate income tax planning and compliance.
Chin has over 15 years of experience in providing professional tax services. She provides tax services to high net worth families, trusts, partnerships, and tax-exempt organisations. Her engagements require income tax planning, research, compliance, consulting and estate planning. She also has experience with family offices and private foundations.
Shah has over 10 years of experience in state and local tax services. His background includes providing services in tax controversy work, restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. His expertise includes resolution of state tax controversies, and state and local tax planning opportunities, with a focus on corporate state income tax issues facing multistate businesses.

Andersen Tax now has 143 managing directors in 19 locations in the US, and an international presence in Europe and Latin America through Andersen Global.
Overall the firm is promoting nine managing directors, four in San Francisco and one each in Seattle, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Houston, and US national tax.
